Falling Water Falls: Winter (Sand Gap, AR)
Falling Water Falls near Sand Gap, Arkansas is one of our favorite Summer swimming holes, but during our most recent visit we discovered just how beautiful it can be in the Winter time too!
The Ozark blue green water, the icicles...gorgeous!We really lucked out with a beautiful sunny and fair day after a week of rain and cold temps, so we took full advantage of it and made the 3 hour drive to the Richland Creek Wilderness Area which gave us the opportunity to visit several easy access waterfalls along with this one, including Intersection Falls and Six Finger Falls (posts coming soon). I was really glad I brought my knee high rain boots because the water was pretty high and I was able to get some great shots from hard to reach areas that day!
