Dripping Springs Trail at Natural Falls State Park in Colcord, OK
The Dripping Springs Trail and Waterfall is located at Natural Falls State Park in Colcord, OK which is located in the the Northeast part of the state. The parks main attraction is the 77 foot waterfall along the Dripping Springs Trail is a really easy 1.3 mile loop trail that is perfect for all ages and also features other beautiful sites such as a winding creek, caves, bluffs, dam waterfall, bridges, picnic areas, etc.Other trails in the park include, Bear Trail, Ghost Coon Trail, and Fox Den Trail--all totaling about 4 miles of great hiking!
I visited the park with my mom and the boys on a gorgeous November Saturday morning after a few days of good rain. Because we live in the extreme Northwest part of Arkansas, it only took about 45 minutes to get to the park. Now that we know about this place we'll definitely be returning here to check out the other trails and maybe plan a camping trip here. It's a really nice small state park with great amenities!
